South Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 2801 Act Apprentice Posts

The South Central Railway (SCR), through its Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC/SC) in Secunderabad, has released an official notification (No. SCR/P-HQ/RRC/111/Act. App/2025-26 dated 11.03.2026) for the engagement of 2801 Act Apprentices for the training year 2025-26. This recruitment drive aims to provide valuable apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1962 in a wide array of trades including AC Mechanic, Carpenter, COPA, Diesel Mechanic, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Fitter, Industrial Electronics, Machinist, MMTM, Motor Mechanic Vehicle, Painter, and Welder. These apprenticeship opportunities are available across various Workshops, Divisions, and Sheds within SCR's jurisdiction, such as Lallaguda, Rayanapadu, Tirupati, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur, and Nanded. Eligibility criteria for these Act Apprentice posts require candidates to have passed the 10th class (under the 10+2 system) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, coupled with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute. The age limit for applicants is set between 15 and 24 years as of April 11, 2026, with provisions for upper age relaxation for reserved categories including SC/ST, OBC-NCL, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen.
